FAQ

Common questions

When do I need a geotechnical (soils) report?
Most cities and counties require a soils report for new buildings, additions, ADUs, pools, retaining walls and grading, and a geology report for hillside or hazard-zone sites. If your plan checker or architect has asked for one, send us your plans and the site address.
What areas do you serve?
We work throughout Southern California, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura and San Diego counties.
Can you respond to City or County review comments?
Yes. We prepare responses to geology and soils review letters from LADBS, LA County GMED and other agencies, including supplemental analyses and updated reports when needed.
What do you need to prepare a proposal?
The site address, a short description of the project, and any available plans, survey or prior reports. We will follow up with a scope of work and fee.

Have a project in mind?
